Developer (m / f / n)

Responsibilities

• You design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices for our national energy data platform.
• You collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver robust software solutions.
• You implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless data integration and communication between services.
• You ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
• You participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• You debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and stability.
• You contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
• You stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our platform.

Your profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 4 years of experience in backend software development, with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• You have experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modelling.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Agile mindset, strong communication skills, and team player mentality, as well as enjoy building knowledge and developing talent.
• You are result-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for details.
• You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German and/or French is considered an asset.
