Design engineer for equipment, fixture and tool construction - high-tech and aerospace (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission: Develop innovative systems, tools and devices that revolutionise the production of high-tech components! With your expertise in manufacturing technologies such as milling, turning, welding, winding and transport solutions, you will take our processes to the next level.

• Development & design: You design high-precision equipment for component production, including complex pressing and winding tools for fibre-reinforced plastic components.
• Technical drawings: You create standard-compliant individual part and assembly drawings with precise geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Material selection & innovation: You will independently decide on the best materials and develop innovative solutions with maximum efficiency and minimum susceptibility to errors.
• Collaboration: You work closely with development and production teams to continuously optimise designs. Responsibility: Your focus is on functional, user-friendly and easy-to-implement designs.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training as a design engineer, technical product designer, state-certified technician specialising in mechanical engineering or a degree in mechanical engineering.
• Practical experience in deriving technical drawings and familiarity with CAD programmes.
• Passion for problem solving, new technologies and smart, lean solutions.
• Very good knowledge of German and English for confident communication in an international environment.
• Initial experience in CNC-compliant design for metallic materials (milling & turning).
• Basic knowledge of fibre composites and their manufacturing processes is a plus.
