Tasks

As a DATA SCIENTIST, I am a key player in delivering real impact in digitizing the travel of numerous clients of the Lufthansa Group. I develop cloud-based data products for our Feature Teams and steer them towards optimal solutions to develop the next era of digitally enhanced travelling.

1. I will collaborate with data engineers to ensure robust data pipelines for ML models.
2. I will provide and generate new insights from complex data sets by applying advanced analytical methods to lift the digital customer experience to the next level.
3. I will research and experiment with new ML/GenAI models for business applications.
4. I collaborate with the Digital Hangar product teams to identify possibilities for improvement and adaptations regarding their digital products.
5. I will design, implement, and maintain MLOps pipelines on Azure Machine Learning for model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
6. I will automate ML workflows using Azure ML, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and Docker/Kubernetes.

Requirements

• I have at least 3 years of experience in Data Science & MLOps, preferably in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning methods, including hands-on experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and relevant data science libraries (SciKit-Learn, PyTorch, PySpark, etc.) as well as model deployment strategies (APIs, batch scoring, serverless ML, etc.).
• Ambition to master and not be intimidated by unstructured data and large datasets.
• Willingness to expand my comfort zone by sometimes leaving it.
• Very good command of the English language.
