Are you passionate about building robust data systems that power decision-making at scale? We are looking for a dedicated Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. In this role, you'll design and develop tools used across the company and directly contribute to enhancing our data processing capabilities, supporting crucial business decisions and optimizing the overall performance of our platform. How you’ll make an impact:

• Develop and maintain robust tools to support data teams and enhance their productivity
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their requirements and build tailored solutions
• Create and optimize data tools for data retrieval, transformation, and visualization processes
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of tools through comprehensive testing and validation
• Implement best practices to improve tooling efficiency and user experience
• Work on initiatives to improve data processing efficiency and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

What you'll need to thrive:

• 3+ years of professional experience with Python
• Experience working with data-centric projects and teams
• Experience with Cloud platforms
• Experience with DevOps concepts (test automation, CI/CD, infrastructure as code etc.) to take end-to-end ownership of pipelines deployed on the cloud
• Be a problem solver with a sense for code quality, iterated deliveries, pragmatism, and stability
• The ability to present complex topics in plain English to non-technical peers and stakeholders

• Hands-on experience with GCP technologies like Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub
• Hands-on experience in distributed systems and/or streaming data technologies
• Extensive experience in writing and maintaining production-grade Python applications
• Profound knowledge of relational data modeling
• Experience (or a keen interest) in working with image processing or Natural Language Processing
