Position Summary

We are looking for a remote D2C Ad Copywriter & Creative Lead to join an innovative marketing agency. This role involves conceptualizing, managing, and executing high-performing D2C paid ad campaigns for our eCommerce clients in the U.S. market. The ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse, excellent communicator, and strategic thinker capable of leading the end-to-end creative process while collaborating closely within internal teams.

The most critical aspect of this role is exceptional copywriting skills. This role requires creating high-converting scripts and ad copy that engage customers and drive results. The candidate should have a deep understanding of marketing, the ability to grasp brand identity holistically, and the skills to develop scripts and copy that resonate with the target audience.

A strong background in D2C eCommerce is essential—real, hands-on experience is required. The right candidate must also have expertise in performance marketing, direct response advertising, and creative scripting. An open and innovative mindset is crucial, as the role involves working with diverse and unconventional products, requiring bold and playful ad campaigns that push creative boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept Development: Create innovative advertising concepts and scripts tailored to the target audience.
  • Copywriting & Scripting: Write compelling ad copy and scripts for paid social media campaigns.
  • Campaign Oversight: Lead the full creative cycle from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and marketing objectives.
  • Performance Marketing Integration: Ensure ads are optimized for conversion, using data-driven insights to refine messaging and creative assets.
  • Team Coordination: Act as the central hub, liaising between UGC creators, editors, and media buyers to bring campaigns to life.
  • Content Sourcing: Collaborate with UGC creators to procure and integrate relevant content into ad campaigns.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate campaign success using key metrics (e.g., CTR, ROAS) and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Process Management: Ensure the smooth execution of creative projects within deadlines and budget constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to the U.S. D2C eCommerce market.
  • Proven expertise in copywriting, creative scripting, and ad concept development.
  • Strong understanding of D2C advertising, paid media strategies, and performance marketing.
  • Ability to craft persuasive, high-converting direct response copy for social media ads.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Strong grasp of campaign metrics and analytics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies relevant to paid advertising and content creation.
  • Creativity, organization, and analytical thinking as core strengths.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus but not required.
