RESPONSIBILITIES

We are the first point of contact for all requests related to Cyber Security and Information Protection. We provide consulting, resolve requests from internal business partners, and connect inquirers with the relevant cyber security experts and service owners. As part of our team in Ludwigshafen, Germany you play an active role in increasing BASF's Cyber Security maturity.

• You provide 1st and 2nd level consulting to our internal business partners to all incoming requests regarding Cyber Security, including guidance on the BASF Cyber Security requirements.
• In addition, you are responsible for documenting and tracking all Cyber Security consultancy inquiries within the request management system.
• You are also consulting on Cyber Security services and matching the enquirers with the responsible service owners, including the collection of customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• You take over the maintenance and further development of BCSO's own request management system, including the automation of internal processes.
• Furthermore, you are responsible for maintaining the internal knowledge base and creating BCSO status reports.
• You represent the BCSO within other Cyber Security teams to ensure cross-functional alignments and develop best practices, security processes, and methods as support for the implementation and promotion of operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed degree in information technology, engineering, or business administration with a very high affinity for information technologies or a comparable vocational education and training.
• Programming skills in Microsoft automation tools (PowerApps, Power Automate,…) or the ability to acquire these skills shortly.
• Basic skills in web applications, databases, middleware, and networks as well as very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Knowledge of Information Security Management Systems and ISO 27001 is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as well as German.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond to constantly changing demands quickly and accurately from many sources.
