What you`ll do:

Summary:

As a Cyber Security Design Associate (f/m/d), you will be part of the Defensive Architecture team in Product Security responsible for developing end-to-end security architectures for the SAP enterprise and SAP products. You will work with operations & development teams and other cyber security professionals to design and implement security architectures. In this role you will also be responsible for supporting the Head of Defensive Architecture Design.

The Role:

In your day-to-day, you will:

1. Provide security architectural guidance and professional advice to internal parties with the focus on Compute & Workplace security.
2. Assist in strategic topics, including preparation of presentation and management documents.
3. Define, manage & derive IT security requirements and security reference architectures.
4. Provide support, advice and services in the planning and coordination processes within and beyond the SGSC Defensive Architecture Design Team.
5. Coordinate and execute unit-projects, cross-unit-projects and special tasks, in cooperation with other security areas.

What you bring:

1. Computer Science Expert Subject Area: System Integration or comparable education.
2. Good knowledge in IT Security / Cyber Security.
3. Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Windows Server 2019 / 2022, Apple MacOS, Linux/ Unix operating system distributions and Apple iOS and Google Android.
4. Basic Knowledge of industry good practice related to operating system hardening standards.
5. Basic Knowledge of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intunes and Jamf PRO / PROTECT.
6. Result orientation and execution focus.
7. Proactive behaviour, quick learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed.
8. Strong communication & presentation skills both written and spoken in German and English.

The Defensive Architecture Team within the SAP Global Security Cybersecurity Defense and Design organization manages the SAP Cybersecurity Architecture Framework, maintains security hardening specifications and provides Cyber Security architecture consulting and advisory services to deliver secure cloud services to our customers. Additionally, it is acting as the trusted partner & advisor for IT and data security matters.
