About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Communications and Publishing and collaborating closely with the Senior Experience and Product Manager and the Senior Channel and Media Manager, the Senior Creative Production Manager (CPM) oversees creative strategy, content development, and implementation across diverse channels and platforms. This role demands visionary leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of creative processes.

Location

This role supports the Europe Central Area of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This job is located in the Frankfurt Area Office and occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Strategy Development: Shape and implement creative strategies that align with organizational goals and resonate with target audiences.
  • Content Creation Leadership: Oversee campaign and content development, including managing graphic design, videography, music production, digital design, magazine and handbook localization, and broadcast projects.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 15 full-time employees across three specialized teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of all creative outputs, aligning with communication strategies and desired objectives.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Source, contract, and manage external creative production agencies to meet project needs.
  • Performance Measurement: Analyze the reach, engagement, and effectiveness of content, refining strategies based on data insights.
  • Travel and Coordination: Manage projects requiring travel, ensuring smooth execution across various locations.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of various platforms and channels, ensuring content is optimized for audience engagement.
  • Leadership Excellence: Proven experience in leading and developing creative teams, both internal and external.
  • Project Management: Exceptional traffic and project management skills, ensuring high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication abilities, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in digital design tools, production workflows, and campaign management platforms.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (post-graduate degree preferred).

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Production, Art direction, Digital Media, Business Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Extensive prior experience in creative leadership roles, with an advantage for advertising or marketing agency backgrounds, demonstrating strong team building.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful campaigns.
  • Strong creative and strategic skills with the ability to align messaging with organizational goals.
