Construction Project Director, Germany

Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Project Director to be responsible for all aspects of planning and executing construction projects in Germany.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting and supporting the Business Development Director during the project design and cost evaluation phase by addressing the clients’ requirements, conditions, and processes
• Taking responsibility for project management, particularly regarding timelines, costs, and quality, including tendering, awarding, and coordinating subcontractors, as well as contract management on both the client and subcontractor sides
• Overseeing and managing all technical processes across all project phases
• Leading the project team
• Maintaining excellent communication with all project stakeholders
• Ensuring a smooth and safe project process in line with internal company guidelines and client requirements

PROFILE

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar
• 10 years’ experience within the construction industry, with experience of managing large complex industrial building projects
• Strong knowledge of VOB and HOAI regulations
• Excellent awareness of quality, costs, and deadlines
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• The right to live and work in the EU, with a willingness to travel frequently (at least 3 days a week on site)
