6 "Hydraulic Engineering, Flood Protection, Water Protection" in Department 65 "Protection and
Management of Surface Waters" from 01.07.2025 the following position is to be filled for a limited period until 30.04.2027:
Computer scientist or research assistant with relevant additional qualifications or professional experience in information technology
for the area of specialist applications in water management.
Unit 65 "Protection and management of surface waters" fulfills
strategic tasks in the monitoring of wastewater facilities in the Bavarian Water Management Administration. This is done, among other things, through the further development and operation of a data processing system for data management for data from the monitoring of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. The data processing system is the specialized application "Datenverbund Abwasser Bayern (DABay)". We are looking for an employee with relevant experience in the operation of databases and web-based IT systems to operate and further develop our specialist application. You will actively support the implementation of our new program enhancements and play an important role in the quality assurance of environmental data and its evaluation.
