The State Cancer Registry NRW gGmbH (LKR NRW), in which the state of NRW holds 100% of the shares, has been entrusted with the sovereign task of cancer registration by the State Ministry of Health, thus making an important contribution to the fight against cancer. All relevant data on cancer (diagnosis, progression, therapy) is registered, evaluated and made available for research. We are looking for a computer scientist (m/f/d) with DevOps specialization for the Information Technology department with immediate effect.
Your Tasks Will Include
- Establishment, further development and operation of continuous integration/delivery (Gitlab, Maven, Nexus infrastructure for the company's internally and externally developed applications)
- Further development and operation of the Docker environment for the Linux-based production, staging and test environments
- Management of security-relevant components (certificates, database access, proxy configuration)
- Operation and administration of support systems for software development including source code management (Gitlab), ticket system (Redmine), Nexus, central application logging
- Close cooperation with the internal software development and IT operations departments
Your Profile Includes
- A university degree in computer science, training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu Server)
- Good knowledge of Docker container technology and Gitlab
- Good knowledge of relational database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL)
- Ideally experience with Scrum and in software development with Java/JavaEE
- Strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
