What You Will Do
As a Compliance Manager in the Compliance Testing Team responsible for Compliance Surveillance, you will ensure Klarna’s electronic communications meet both internal and external compliance requirements. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on organizational communications to prevent and detect potential violations, aligning the firm with industry standards in electronic communications surveillance. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and Maintain Surveillance Systems: Design systems to effectively capture and monitor electronic communications.
- Implement and Monitor Processes: Oversee electronic communications (e.g., email, Slack, social media) for compliance adherence.
- Policy Compliance: Identify potential breaches and regulatory violations through data analysis, ensuring all surveillance activities meet regulatory standards.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Update internal policies related to electronic communications and promote awareness across the organization.
- Investigation and Resolution: Conduct investigations into potential compliance breaches, working with legal, HR, and other departments to resolve issues.
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to maintain and enhance surveillance systems, staying informed on regulatory and technological advancements.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, with a focus on electronic communications surveillance.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and propose practical solutions.
- Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Skilled in using surveillance and monitoring software tools.
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- High ethical standards and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven track record of successful interaction with internal teams and stakeholders.
