What you’ll do
As a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps (Senior) Engineer (f/m/d), you will manage incident and service requests for the SAP Cloud Infrastructure. You will be part of the 7/24 on-call rotation and share responsibilities with the SAP Cloud Infrastructure team to ensure continuous premium support coverage. This role requires excellent communication skills and expertise in DevOps principles, cloud concepts, Kubernetes and container technologies, and knowledge in infrastructure technologies such as computing, networking, and storage. You must possess Linux knowledge to operate the platform on the command line and shell interfaces to analyze issues in the infrastructure and OpenStack platform components like Nova, Neutron, and Cinder. Scripting and programming expertise in Python, Go, Ansible or similar languages is a plus. In this role, you will work with sensitive customers from regulated industries.
You will collaborate with engineers and developers in a multinational DevOps team to provide high-quality support and services to our internal and external customers worldwide.

• Experience operating mission-critical cloud infrastructure services 7/24.
• Willingness to participate in 7/24 infrastructure operations on-calls.
• Ability to quickly analyze, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal customer impact.
• Ideally +3 years of professional experience (open to less for the right candidate).
