The Client Service department is the link between the warehouse and our customers (B2B). Bergen Logistics is an international organization where people with different nationalities work, making English the working language. In this position, you will be part of the Client Service Team, which currently consists of three people, and report to the Sr. Project & Account Manager.
- You maintain contact with customers and contribute to a good customer relationship;
- You receive customers and/or customs control staff on location;
- You act as a link between the customer and the Warehouse and, where necessary, look for the right information;
- You have regular conversations with customers to discuss the logistics processes;
- You take care of administrative tasks;
- You take on ad hoc tasks;
- You identify and offer solutions to bottlenecks.
- You offer support in the field of import and export to and from the Netherlands. For this purpose, you handle various customs documents, such as:
- Import declaration
- Export declaration
- Transit (T1/T2)
- Classification of goods
- In addition, you provide related Origin Documentation, including:
- Certificate of Origin
- EUR.1
- A.TR
- ATA-Carnet
- Note: you will not have to create those documents yourself but rather gather them from our clients to provide them to our various partners (e.g. customs).
- You have at least MBO level, obtained through education and/or work experience in an equivalent position;
- You have demonstrable experience with customs matters, customs clearance and the preparation of various export documents;
- You have a good command English language, Dutch language is a plus.
- Preferably you have experience within logistics and especially fashion (this is an advantage);
- Preferably you have affinity with warehouse processes;
- You are enthusiastic, proactive and decisive;
- You are social and communicative;
- You are flexible and able to function well both independently and in a team;
- You oversee the big picture and are not easily knocked out;
