Account Executive (m/f/d) Retail in Germany

Your mission: The Account Executive is accountable for both farming (up-sell and cross-sell) and delivery in a large account/s. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth from the account/s by:

  1. Developing strategic relationships with decision makers and influencers in the customer’s organization
  2. Creating and sharing sales success stories
  3. Ensuring customer satisfaction through world-class delivery

Your tasks will include:

  1. The Account Executive develops and strengthens relationships with decision makers and influencers in the account.
  2. The Account Executive should become a trusted IT advisor to the customer and should participate in his strategic planning.
  3. The Account Executive builds a trusted group of referable contacts who can vouch for Wipro.
  4. He/she executes a plan to develop allies and partner allies, builds personal connections, and gains access to new contacts.
  5. He/she ensures a balance of customer engagement across business, management, and operations.
  6. The Account Executive identifies opportunities for growth in the account/s and leads account strategy and planning.
  7. He/she drives penetration in the customer’s business units and maintains a comprehensive account growth strategy.
  8. He/she regularly monitors sales trends, market dynamics, and incorporates them into existing account strategy and plan.
  9. You will be responsible for mentoring and nurturing the next line of leadership in the account team.
  10. He/she ensures high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and quality of experience.
  11. You will communicate progress against the account plan and other related developments to all relevant stakeholders.
  12. The Account Executive ensures cross-geographic synergies in project management and delivery execution.
  13. He/she will be in charge of orchestrating internal resources in sales and delivery to give the customer/s an enhanced delivery experience.
  14. He/she conducts regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns.
  15. The Account Executive monitors key metrics on a regular basis and plans for initiatives and actions to achieve cost optimization and improve service standards.
  16. He/she identifies potential weak areas in the delivery and devises corrective action plans to ensure on-time and defect-free delivery.
  17. He/she optimally utilizes the resources towards effective implementation of development and delivery plans.
  18. He/she showcases Wipro’s solutions as a strategic fit for the customer organization through workshops, presentations, and executive meetings.
  19. You will push for higher value services and solutions to the customer in line with Wipro’s offerings.

Skills and experience:

  1. At least 10 years of experience in managing big accounts in the IT professional services field.
  2. Experience in global service delivery models.
  3. Strong background in Application Services, Digital Transformation Services preferred.
  4. Strong domain expertise preferred.
  5. Ability to work with an offshore model.
  6. Fluency in English and German language preferred.
  7. Excellent ability to communicate effectively along vertical and horizontal lines internally and in client organization.
  8. Previous experience in managing 15+ million accounts.
