DHL Freight is seeking a dynamic and strategic CIO DACH, UK & IE (f/m/d) at our Head Office in Bonn to spearhead our long-term digital priorities and shape the future of our IT strategy in alignment with regional and DHL Group objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Strategic Leadership: Participate in overall business planning, sharing insights and future perspectives on technology and systems to enhance our competitive position.
- Alignment and Collaboration: Ensure seamless alignment between Business and IT across all levels, bridging business objectives with Digital Services requirements enterprise-wide.
- Innovation and Governance: Drive the innovation and governance agenda, fostering alignment with other divisions to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Transformation Champion: Lead and support the Freight Transformation program (E4U) in your region, driving impactful change and modernization.
- Board Engagement: Actively contribute as a supportive member of Business and IT boards, influencing key decisions and strategies.
- Optimization and Standardization: Drive process and workflow automation to optimize DOE + SLA costs, aiming for IT product portfolio standardization and complexity reduction.
Our perfect match:
- Experienced Leader: You have over 10 years of experience managing cross-regional, cross-country, and distributed teams in multi-cultural environments.
- IT Expertise: Proven track record in managing and leading teams with professional standard knowledge and practical experience within IT.
- Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting and cost controlling, managing budgets of 20 Mio EUR+.
- Vendor Management: Experienced in selecting and managing external suppliers or resources.
- Complex Systems Implementation: Demonstrated ability to implement complex IT systems effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Project Management Skills: Strong expertise in Project Management methodologies such as Prince2, DePICT, and SCRUM.
