Location

The position home-base is in Frankfurt, Germany and occasional travel may be required. Possibility to work remotely from one of Europe Central Area Countries.

The Role

As a Senior Channel and Media Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all channel management and media planning efforts to align with area communication objectives and engage target audiences effectively.
  • Maintaining a continuous presence on our social media platforms by managing and optimizing these channels to enhance audience interaction.
  • Planning, developing, maintaining, and managing the Church’s existing websites to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with organizational values.
  • Leading the execution of media campaigns across digital, print, television, radio, and social media platforms.
  • Planning and implementing advertising campaigns to promote the Church's events, initiatives, and messages.
  • Analyzing performance data to refine strategies and maximize impact.
  • Collaborating with internal and external resources, including media vendors, to ensure excellence in execution.
  • Staying informed about media trends and emerging platforms to deliver innovative and effective strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : Extensive prior experience in media planning, channel management, or a related field, with a strong track record of team leadership.
  • Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience). A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Portfolio: A robust portfolio showcasing expertise in media strategy, channel management, and executing effective campaigns across various platforms, with a focus on strategic thinking, data-driven decisions, and hands-on execution.
  • Analytical Skills : Proficiency in analyzing data and using insights to optimize strategies.
  • Leadership Excellence : Proven ability to manage and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with media planning tools, analytics platforms, and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Communication Expertise : Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Cultural Sensitivity : Understanding of diverse audiences across Europe and the ability to adapt messaging accordingly.
