Oakwell Hampton are looking for a Buyer to join our clients procurement team and play a key role in sourcing IT hardware and electronic accessories. In this position, you will be responsible for supplier management, price negotiations, and ensuring the availability of high-quality products to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Handle operational and strategic purchasing of IT hardware and accessories.
Obtain and compare supplier offers, leading price and contract negotiations.
Identify, select, and manage national and international suppliers.
Monitor delivery timelines to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Maintain accurate master data and documentation in the ERP system.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to align procurement with business goals.
Analyse the market for new products, pricing trends, and industry developments.
Your Profile
A completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
Initial experience in procurement, ideally in the IT hardware or electronics sector.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
A structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a strong ability to work in a team.
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
