Business Security Consultant (m/w/d)

We are looking for experienced security experts!

Your mission

Our business security team advises organisations on the most appropriate and cost-effective measures to counter security risks. We take a pragmatic approach: No paperwork and bureaucratic hassle, just the essentials implemented in a practicable solution. Risk and security management are at the centre of our 'Business Security Services'.
As a Business Security Consultant, you will support several large German companies at the same time. The tasks vary from security assessments and risk analyses to business continuity management (BCM) projects.
You act as a link and are able to get a picture of the organisation. As the focal point for integrated information security, you identify risks at both a strategic and tactical level and advise on suitable measures.
You will report directly to the General Manager Germany and work closely with the Northwave Business, Bytes & Behaviour teams in the Netherlands. The German team is still being built up, so you can actively contribute to our success in the DACH region.

What can you expect from us?

Contract

First things first: you will receive a permanent employment contract with 30 days' holiday per year. You can organise your own working hours in consultation with your colleagues and customers.

Development

What do you want to achieve and what support do you need? You will receive regular training and support in achieving your professional goals. You can also develop further within Northwave.

Team

It is important to us to respect and value each other - as professionals and as people. The best way to get to know your 230+ colleagues from the Netherlands and Germany is to take part in one of our many activities, such as our annual trip to the theme park.

Equipment

You will be equipped with a modern MacBook and iPhone. We have height-adjustable desks in our offices.

Mobility

In order to be mobile at all times, you will receive either a company car or a BahnCard 100 (also for private use).

Education

Do you have a degree in management or IT and possibly relevant certificates such as CISSP or similar?

Knowledge and experience

Do you have extensive knowledge of information security and several years of experience in the implementation and operation of information security management systems, particularly under ISO 27001 and/or in business continuity management? Can you translate abstract information security issues into concrete solutions? Do you know how to identify the right risks within an organisation at both a strategic and tactical level? Can you empathise with customers' core business and incorporate this into your approach?

Other strengths

Do you work independently, are you well structured and can you build a good relationship with your customers? Do you speak very good German and good English?
