Business Procurement Manager (f/m/d)

For the department “Business Procurement Radar & Naval Solutions” we are looking for a “Business Procurement Manager (f/m/d)” at the Ulm location as soon as possible.

The “Business Procurement Radar & Naval Solutions” department of HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH is the contact for the program / project areas of the divisions for all procurement-related matters. This is done in close cooperation with strategic and operational purchasing as well as the entire supply chain.

Your Tasks

• Active participation in engineering projects for the early implementation of the procurement strategy for new product developments
• Collaboration and coordination of tenders and bid preparation with strategic purchasing
• Independent tendering and negotiation of contracts with selected suppliers
• Drawing up and monitoring the procurement plan over the entire project phase / product development phase
• Regular status and KPI reporting to the project manager and project management
• Collaboration in the preparation of customer quotations as part of product costing and the definition of schedules
• Identification of potential savings and optimization of procurement processes
• Competent contact person for internal departments such as project / product management, production, quality, finance, development and legal as well as the central purchasing departments
• Pursuing targets to improve costs, quality, delivery reliability and innovation

Your Profile

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and / or development, ideally in the field of project procurement or capital goods
• Experience of working in complex project structures is advantageous
• Confident handling of ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Analytical skills and cost awareness
• Business fluent German and English skills
