One of our clients is seeking a dynamic and innovative Business Development Manager to join their European team. This role is pivotal in driving new business initiatives beyond the chemical industry and enhancing their market presence. The ideal candidate will be based in Germany and will work 100% from home, with occasional travel as required.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities beyond the chemical sector.
• Conduct market research and analysis to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement marketing strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential partners and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present business proposals and reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in business development, preferably in a non-chemical industry.
• Strong marketing skills with a strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Japanese business culture and language is a plus.
• Must be a resident of Germany.
