PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Business Development and Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the CEO in defining, evaluating, and implementing commercial strategies aimed at achieving the company’s sales objectives. Although this position does not directly lead the sales team, it plays a strategic and operational role in business development and selected sales projects. The role includes ownership of independent sales targets and projects with a strong focus on new market opportunities, partnerships, and customer acquisition.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

  1. Develop and implement the commercial strategy to achieve the €5M in revenue target by 2027.
  2. Lead product commercial plan with specific growth targets.
  3. Design and execute strategies to increase market share in high fidelity models to 70% by 2026.
  4. Optimize and digitize traditional and e-commerce sales processes.
  5. Develop and implement 90% accurate sales forecasting systems.
  6. Support the CEO on lead and develop the global sales team (2 people in Germany, 1 person in USA).
  7. Establish KPIs and sales performance metrics.
  8. Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies for demand generation, brand positioning, and commercial campaigns.
  9. Lead and manage assigned sales projects from prospecting to closing, including post-sale support where needed.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  11. Prepare commercial offers, presentations, and value propositions for customers.
  12. Monitor progress of personal sales goals and take corrective actions where necessary.
  13. Actively participate in international trade shows, congresses, and other events to represent the brand and identify new leads.

TRAINING AND SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE

  1. Education: MBA or Master in Business Administration. Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing or related career.
  2. In-depth knowledge of CRM and data analysis tools.
  3. Proficiency in forecasting and business planning methodologies.
  4. Knowledge of the medical simulator market and clinical sector.
  5. Experience in digital transformation of business processes.
  6. Languages: Native or bilingual English, German desirable, Spanish desirable.

EXPERIENCE

  1. At least 10 years of experience in senior commercial positions.
  2. At least 5 years leading international sales teams.
  3. Demonstrable experience in strategic account management and development of new markets.
  4. Experience in implementing e-commerce strategies.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30% of the time).
  2. Ability to work with globally distributed teams: Realists Germany, Realists USA, Realists Peru.
  3. Knowledge of medtech industry standards.

SALARY

Competitive base salary + Bonus for objectives.
