The Business Analyst will work closely with the Program/R&D Management, Product Management teams, and the Business Finance Team. The role involves collaboration with business stakeholders from various departments, partners, and locations to define and achieve business objectives. The Business Analyst will refine and expand existing high-level requirements and provide quality deliverables and reports. The position requires close work with the General Manager and his team regarding sales forecasts and outlook scenarios, as well as with Program and Finance Management to ensure that R&D programs align with the product vision, strategic plan, and defined product roadmap.
The main tasks of the Business Analyst include:
Preparation of reports and projections/business cases based on analyses for R&D Controlling/ZBB and Sales Controlling.
Analysis of past and current financial performance and other data in sales and R&D programs/projects.
Identifying financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Supporting standard and program/project cost analysis.
Continuously improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to management.
Reconciling transactions by comparing and correcting data.
Maintaining databases by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.
Ensuring that role-assigned requirements are captured, and deliverables are prepared at the appropriate level of detail for the General Manager, Finance Director, and Program/R&D Managers.
Proactively communicating and collaborating with internal customers and business partners to analyze information needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
Demonstrating very good analytical skills and project management skills, with a thorough understanding of interpreting customer and business needs into operational requirements.
Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of peers, executives, managers, and other subject matter experts.
What will You bring?
Bachelor’s degree in finance/controlling with 2-4 years of practical experience, or Master’s degree with 0-1 years; or equivalent professional experience.
Financial acumen and proficiency with MS Office Products; user experience with Oracle Cloud or similar tools is helpful.
Experience in gathering and analyzing data.
Experience working with sales, finance, and technical teams.
Ability to work across various levels of the organization.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

5+ years in a finance/sales business analyst role with a strong technical/scientific background of 2+ years.
