Business Analyst (f / m / d)

The role has multiple dimensions; from overseeing the implementation of IFRS and local GAAP accounting for our 3rd party insurance business to setting up new clients in the system post-implementation. You will monitor and clarify issues, liaise with various stakeholders including internal teams, external clients, and providers.

You will bring your previous experience as a Business Analyst to assess, design, and implement solutions to challenges. You will engage across key internal and external stakeholders, reviewing and improving existing processes, defining the impact of various projects and initiatives on the client reporting operating model, and supporting multiple projects and initiatives impacting the team.

Your role will also incorporate training up other team members and working in other fields of client reporting.

What you will do:

• Support the Global Insurance Reporting implementation Project
• Lead role in transferring the project into BAU
• Oversee and maintain responsibility for the ongoing BAU production
• Clarification of issues in the process and ensure they are resolved
• Support other projects and BAU within the Team

What you bring: Qualifications:

• University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field with a focus on investments

Working Experience:

• 5+ relevant years of experience, preferably in asset management

Knowledge & Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with strong people skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving and the ability to explain complex technical analysis to a non-technical audience
• Excellent accounting expertise with deep understanding and previous experience of local GAAP / IFRS
• Previous experience managing and overseeing external service providers
• Ability to manage, influence and engage senior stakeholders within the organization
• A team-player with the ability to operate effectively and collaboratively with a “speak up” attitude and mindset
• Strong analytical mindset with proven and solid problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze data, identify core issues, investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions / solutions with strategic thought
• Strong knowledge of the Asset Management business with the full picture from front to back office
• Strong Project Management skills would be a distinct advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Languages: Business fluent English and German language skills

Additional Hiring Criteria:

• Process and/or project management experience
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and Data Management tools as well as a sound understanding of data architecture would be a distinct advantage
