We are looking for candidates for our Hüllhorst and Budapest locations.

Your challenges

In this role, you will join our VELUX Commercial Configuration Management team dedicated to developing and maintaining our configuration systems. The team consists of 4 colleagues located in Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary and Denmark.

As Business Analyst you will play an instrumental role in developing and optimizing our configuration systems to enable our sales force to efficiently Configure, Price and Quote our various solutions.

Your Areas Of Responsibility Include

• Collect, document and prioritize business requirements and convert them into clear development specifications.
• Plan and monitor progress of product backlog items in accordance to overall timeline.
• Help design, document and maintain system processes.
• Ensure appropriate consistency and system credibility.
• Collaborate actively with stakeholders from all levels of the organization.
• Develop and assist with the execution of a testing strategy.
• Facilitate training sessions to ensure user adoption.
• Motivated by being part of creating structure.

You can expect to travel approx. 25 days per year.

Your Qualifications

We expect that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ideally 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects, with a strong understanding of both business and technical concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with CPQ tools and or processes.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong command of written and spoken English is a must and German a benefit.
• A good understanding of O365, Azure DevOps/Jira is a plus.
