Position: Online English Teacher

Anyone with previous teaching, tutoring or instruction experience is encouraged to submit their information. Tutors must be at least 18 years of age and either be currently enrolled in or have graduated from college. While the majority of our tutors are U.S.-based, great tutors from all locations are welcome.

Job Requirements:

• Native English speaker
• Proficiency in Spoken and Written English
• Passion for teaching, good personality, and friendly to foreign students
• Responsible, punctual, and good time management
• Patient, flexible, dynamic, and creative in teaching different levels of English learners
• Preferred: having previous experience in online teaching
• Degree Required: College Student/ Associate/ Bachelor or above
• Certification: No/Preferred
• Years Experience: 0

Job Description:

• After creating an account, we will confirm a school for you. We want to know your areas of expertise by getting to know a little about you and your teaching ability.
• Manage your current subjects and add new ones by using the table below. Select the subjects you would like to tutor by clicking on them in the checkbox.
• We will send you opportunities for lessons by email. Please make sure to check your email on time.
• You will make an average of $20 per class hour with your students and will be paid every two weeks.
• Pay Rate per Hour: Minimum: $18 – Maximum: $22
• Class Size: one-on-one
• Student Ages: High School & College Prep (age 15-18)/ Adult (age 18+)
• Class Schedule: BJT (GMT + 8) / Morning (9am-12pm)/ Afternoon (12pm-3pm)/ Late Afternoon (3pm-6pm)/ Evening (6pm-9pm)/ Night (9pm-12am)
