Position Overview

The Brand Manager Oral Care (f / m / d) is leading the brand growth plan for the portfolio he / she has the responsibility of. In this role, the Brand Manager is accountable for the full people journey across the ACPL funnel, leading to integrated online + offline experiences, across the Central Europe West Region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of holistic Brand Growth Plan for the owned Colgate portfolio with behavioral data and people-centric insights for mass market channels in close cooperation with the Colgate brand lead, cross functional and divisional teams.
  • Lead the commercial process (European Division / CEW Hub / Country) for the owned portfolio.
  • Maintain an always-on media and marketing plan, sliced for defined segments and targets and localizes all assets.
  • Develop strong consumer plans that contribute to driving brand health metrics (visibility, distinctiveness & emotional bond).
  • Product management for the owned portfolio (includes artwork creation, SKU management, claims & innovation).
  • Responsible for the P&L and the SOM development of a part of the Colgate portfolio.
  • Close cooperation with the Sales and Digital Transformation team.

Key Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:

  • College or University degree. A proven track record of performance with at least 3 years of work experience in Brand Management preferably in Consumer Goods & Healthcare Goods.
  • Data analytics: ability and financial knowledge to evaluate and digest complex business processes, identify insights and opportunities and then capitalize and execute on learnings.
  • Digital savvy: Experience with digital media to drive clear plans by media/channel across the people journey together with the specialists in the Digital Transformation team.
  • Innovative thinker: Champions new initiatives and experimentation. Gains buy-in & implements new ideas quickly & effectively.
  • Interpersonal & collaboration skills: Works within the Central Europe West Hub team to influence people and build strong trusted relationships internally/externally to drive action and progress.
  • Highly influential: able to influence people and build consensus, at all levels of the organization, sometimes without direct authority.
  • Effective execution: Achieving results with speed & excellence, eliminating unnecessary work, driving simplicity and holding self-accountable for results.
