Bioengineering PHD Students (m/f/d)

Project description

The bioengineering projects aim to establish human 3D-artery and -tissue models using human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC)-derived cells. The models will be used in studying disease mechanisms and therapeutic testing for obesity and coronary artery disease.

What you bring

• Skills in culturing and differentiating hiPSCs, biofabrication of tissue and handling of 3D printers
• Strong interest in cardiovascular research
• Accuracy and reliability, initiative, organizational skills, and a high sense of responsibility
• Very good written and spoken English
• High level of communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
