Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:

We are looking for a Base Metal Buyer to join our office in Berlin.

As a Base Metal Buyer, you will be responsible for proper management of purchasing tasks, reporting and communication between our German factories and headquarters, ensuring meeting business needs in line with purchasing and company strategy:

• Daily metal hedging
• Processing of orders, order confirmations, invoices and management of supplier master data
• Close cooperation with 5 factories in Germany, headquarters and suppliers
• Correct and timely monthly reporting
• Problem solving, proactive deadline tracking and determination of requirements related to metal purchases
• Implementation of projects for the optimization, standardization and further development of purchasing processes
• Support of regional and global strategic initiatives related to supplier management and process improvements

You are the right fit if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience within procurement or supply chain functions, ideally spent within a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude
• Structured, independent, solution-oriented and flexible way of working
• A sound knowledge of MS Office applications, experience with SAP is a plus
• Proficiency in both English and German (speaking and writing)
