Avionics Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Design, develop and build test platforms to effectively validate Avionics Hardware
• Create software that enables tests to be run in a hardware-in-the-loop (HITL, HIL) environment
• Develop tools for flight data emulation and test data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system
• Implement DevOps processes to improve the speed and quality of test execution
• Integration and debugging of existing avionics devices

Your Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities will be conducted in English)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous and challenging environment
• Experience in Python and Bash scripting as well as one of the following languages: C++, Rust, C
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with MATLAB or LabView is considered beneficial
• Demonstrated knowledge of network-based communication protocols and the utilization of related debugging tools
• Knowledge of serial bus interfaces like I2C, SPI and CAN
• Experience in working with electrical testing equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
• Ability to work hands-on with avionics and IT hardware
