In 2009, Riot released its debut title, League of Legends, and has since become the most-played PC game in the world and a vital driver of the dramatic growth of esports, alongside VALORANT and the VCT leagues around the world. At the core is the EMEA Esports team, responsible for operating all major Riot Esports events, supporting and adhering to global policies for the sport, driving global and regional narratives, and executing our EMEA regional leagues. That’s where you come in.

You will collaborate closely with the Esports Product Teams, Publishing, and Content Services to coordinate and develop on-air personalities to deliver world-class esports coverage, increasing audience connection and product sentiment.
You will work with the talent management team on future planning and supporting strategy decisions for EMEA Content Services, as well as global Riot Esports projects. You will collaborate to build and maintain guiding systems to be standardized across the global Riot Esports ecosystem.
Using your keen understanding of broadcast and commentary skills, Riot Esports, and core audience, you will help make talent choices as they relate to editorial prioritizations, storytelling, excitement, and fandom. Your relationships and expertise will be critical in building compelling and resonant entertainment experiences for our audiences.
You will work closely with the studio production crew to support on-site talent coordination and prepare logistics.
You will participate in story development and pitch meetings to contribute to our rich esports ecosystem. You will attend and contribute to weekly story meetings and help inform decisions about what stories the team will tell. You will collaborate closely with our Riot Commercial Partner and Publishing teams to staff sponsor integration, press, and content. You will build deep, lasting relationships with on-air talent and partners. You will travel on location to manage and support on-air talent and broadcast efforts.
Working schedule may require nights and weekend hours per production needs. You may also assist with planning and on-site coordination for International Events from time-to-time.
We are currently looking to hire two Associate Talent Producers, though cross-product flexibility is required, one will primarily focus on League of Legends and the second on Valorant. Both roles will be based in Berlin.
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players. We will be looking at your past studies, experience, and your personal relationship with games. If you embody player empathy and care about players experiences, this could be your role!
