The Facility Operations Team continuously monitors and manages infrastructure systems ensuring they meet the specifications of the end user. When there are degradations to these systems that impact safety or production, the Operations Team will be the first line of defense to make time-critical adjustments.

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of SCADA systems across various industrial and utility projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the electrical field, automation, and remote-control operations.

What You’ll Do

• Configure and integrate Siemens Siprotec 5 protection relays into SCADA systems
• Set up and maintain A8000 RTUs and communication modules
• Work with Spectrum Power 5 for SCADA backend integration and configuration
• Program and test 3VA communication-capable breakers
• Design electrical drawings and communication topologies for substation automation projects
• Implement IEC 61850, Modbus, and other standard communication protocols
• Support field commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities
• Provide technical documentation and support during the project lifecycle

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of experience with SCADA and substation automation
• Hands-on experience with Siprotec 5, A8000, Spectrum Power 5, and 3VA devices
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMI/SCADA platforms, and communication protocols
• Proficient in reading and creating electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical or similar)

Preferred Skills:

• Cybersecurity knowledge in SCADA networks
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with utility grid systems and protection coordination
• Ability to travel for on-site support and commissioning
• English – full-professional level.
