Associate Director, Global Supply Chain Solutions and SAP Execution (f/m/d)

The role will provide help to sites and develop solutions and improvements at the site level while ensuring process improvements are standardized and implemented across all sites, Divisions, and BUs.

This role requires extensive SAP knowledge in all facets of SAP and will drive the sustainability of the processes in SAP within the organization, train users and SMEs, and ensure the appropriate level of documentation (Policies, SOPs, Work Instructions) are in place and embedded into the LONZA Quality System.

We need an SAP expert in execution; i.e., plan to make (end to end) processes involving master data, process orders, MRP, purchase orders, warehouse/material movements, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess Supply Chain Processes across Sites and Divisions/BUs.
• Define gap analysis through assessments and discussions, develop action plans, and help implement them.
• Address Audit Findings/Observations.
• Fix Site Issues – Liaise with IT.
• Standardize and Harmonize Processes, i.e., Cycle Count, Inter-Company, Resins, CSTM, Vendor Returns, SMOG, etc.
• Assist Sites and Divisions/BUs when requesting new functionality – to ensure it is not a “one-off” and only for that site.
• Write SOPs/WI – Roll-Out and Train.
• Seek guidance from the Director of Global Supply Chain Solutions and SAP Execution for liaising and mobilization to a site.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Life Science with strong supply chain background experience in a site environment.
• Advanced years of experience in multiple Supply Chain site functions with a strong focus on planning, execution, and logistics processes.
• APICS CPIM certification is required.
• Extensive SAP knowledge in all facets of SAP.
• Subject matter expert for planning and execution.
• Ability to establish and track project delivery. Proven experience with handling multiple global and complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to assist different sites remotely as well as on-site.
• Ability to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Good communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
• Proven ability to lead and influence and coach people at all hierarchy levels.
• Ideally, manufacturing or technical experience demonstrating a self-starting and hands-on quality.
