Our team generates value for Healthcare & Life Sciences companies offering strategic insights and recommendations in areas ranging from Product Positioning & Innovation, Competitive Insights, Digital Transformation, Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC), Physician + Patient Journey Mapping, and Brand Communication + Strategy. F&S can provide strategic options, insights, and opportunities for existing and new entrants to tap into areas of unmet needs and drive product and technology innovation in the value chain. In addition, we help our clients understanding the voice of customers (patient goals and desires, and physician's perceptions, emotional attitudes, and treatment goals) to improve customer engagement, marketing strategy (support launch plans, communication materials), enhance product development, differentiate their proposition and build brand loyalty.

About the Role

The central driver of Customer Engagement & a leader in one or more practice areas. Build relationships with clients but assume an added responsibility for developing new clients at the Senior/ Board level being a driving force in the development of the PAs Intellectual Capital. A true F&S Ambassador in the market. Responsible for the overall performance (targets, timeliness, quality, and team management for the PA). This will be an office-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating healthcare and/or industry expertise to clients in order to scope, secure, and lead projects.
  • Leading small teams of consultants to produce client deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts with prospective clients, particularly in Europe.
  • Completing primary interviews and collating secondary research, data analysis while developing a strategy to support clients' projects.
  • Developing presentations and whitepapers summarizing research results.
  • Producing papers, articles, and content supporting client demand generation programs.
  • Developing financial and market forecasting models.
  • Participating in internal team calls and client calls as scheduled.
  • Reporting project status on a regular basis to the project manager or client.
  • Work autonomously and effectively within growth advisory in a globalized team environment.
  • Must be able to work in consulting with a deadline-driven environment with responsibility for 3-4 projects simultaneously at any given time.
  • Ongoing professional development and thought leadership activities.
  • Proven sales record in current/previous roles of selling advisory projects to clients.

Required Competencies:

  • Must be able to communicate at a Business level German and English, Writing, Reading, and Speaking.
  • Must be able to provide evidence from prior work to produce strong writing pieces regardless of subject matter but preferred as B2B marketing communication.
  • Preferred 5–8-year experience in strategic marketing, healthcare administration, medical products, such as medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.
  • Advanced MS Office applications skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project and time management skills. Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering, communications/ journalism, business, science, or technology.
  • Advanced degrees in life sciences, engineering or business management, or commensurate experience working in a related area preferred.
  • A marketing, product development, strategy, market research or consulting background is desirable.
  • Strong connections with major pharmaceutical and medical technology manufacturers in German, Switzerland, and Austria preferred.
