Assistant Video Arts (m/f/d)
Germany / Bayreuth

Area of responsibilities:

• Plan and execute video shoots, including tutorials, social media content, web content, and event coverage, ensuring all content aligns with our brand identity.
• Edit a variety of video content to produce polished and engaging final products, meeting quality standards for tutorials, events, and functional assets.
• Capture professional-grade photographs at events to support branding and storytelling efforts.
• Maintain studio equipment, manage inventory, and ensure the workspace is organized and functional.
• Assist with sound recording during video shoots, to have clear and professional audio quality.
• Set up and manage basic video streaming solutions for live or virtual events.
• Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop compelling content ideas and visual storyboards.
• Integrate basic motion graphics and animations into videos using tools like Adobe After Effects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, align with brand guidelines, and meet quality expectations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and suggest innovative approaches to elevate visual storytelling.

Profile of qualification:

• Proven experience with professional cameras and video/photo equipment.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Media Encoder.
• Practical experience in sound recording to achieve professional-quality audio.
• Basic knowledge of video streaming setups and related software.
• Familiarity with Motion Graphics, particularly with Adobe After Effects, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of photo editing tools like Adobe Lightroom is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Passion for visual storytelling with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Fluent in English; German language is a plus.
