Job MissionThe Strategic Marketing Planning function is responsible for strategic planning, monitoring, and market governance. As Assistant Manager Strategic Marketing Planning, your responsibilities will include coordinating and steering launch-related activities across Kia Europe and its markets. You will play a fundamental role in facilitating collaboration, ensuring seamless information flow, and contributing to the successful launch of innovative products and services.
Your ResponsibilitiesLaunch and Marketing Planning- Coordinate all aspects of Kia Europe’s Launch Planning Process for Products & Services, within Kia Europe and with the markets.
- Act as a key contact point for launch related activities for Kia Europe and local markets.
- Plan and execute comprehensive launch conferences for EU markets, exploring synergies with other departments to maximize impact.
- Coordinate the Launch Plan process with markets, including gathering submissions, conducting content reviews, and ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
- Lead cross-functional departmental meetings to facilitate information exchange and foster collaboration and synergies creation across departments.
- Maintain and refine the online project management platform, enabling effective tracking of launch activities.
- Drive enhancements to the overall launch planning process, including review of meeting needs, documents and implementing a process for post launch reports.
Market Governance and Business Planning- Manage the roll-out of marketing strategies, sharing insights and refining processes to streamline the European Marketing efforts.
- Identify and lead the coordination of key marketing meetings and forums with markets (such as best practices, marketing conferences, etc.), with the aim of strengthening Kia Europe and market interactions as well as frequency.
- Support the Manager Strategic Marketing Planning with the annual business planning process for marketing including organization of meetings, workshops as well as the development of the BP guidelines.
- Contribute to the review and analysis of market’s business plan submissions and identify best practices to be shared amongst Kia markets.
EducationYour talents:University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering.
Experience- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in sales, marketing, product, or business planning.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required - bring your passion and expertise, and we’ll help you thrive!
Skills- Proactive, and eager to learn and grow.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Inspire and drive for results of cross-functional teams.
- Experience in implementing and steering processes.
- Combine data analysis with impactful presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Jira/Confluence, and MS SharePoint is essential.
- Fluency in English required. Additional languages will be a plus.
