Who we are looking for...
As Deputy Technical Manager, you are the first point of contact for the hotel team when technical challenges arise. You assign your team on a daily basis, monitor progress and provide help and advice. You are also the direct contact person for external companies and you also know a lot about safety and fire protection. You support the Director of Engineering in all projects and tasks and are known in the hotel as a real problem solver due to your helpful and pragmatic nature.
What your responsibilities are...
- You are jointly responsible for the plant engineering, the maintenance of the building structure and the entire FF&E.
- You keep an eye on the energy consumption and make suggestions to constantly reduce it.
- You are jointly responsible for ensuring building security and always have the well-being and safety of employees and guests in mind.
- Fire protection with all its facets is also your responsibility.
- You are the technical leader of the entire technical team and work closely with all other hotel departments.
- You are responsible for shift scheduling and shift procedures.
- You create duty & on-call schedules.
- You provide new team members with a professional induction and a motivating working atmosphere.
- You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team.

- You already have several years of professional experience in building services with initial management experience.
- You have ideally completed a vocational training in electrical engineering.
- You are highly organized and maintain an overview.
- You are a communicative networker who works productively with contractors of all trades, suppliers and colleagues.

- You are a communication talent.
- Your technical and organizational knowledge and skills are the basis for your decisions.
