Assistant Accounting Manager in Düsseldorf (m / f / d)

A Japanese global manufacturing, trading and investment company in Düsseldorf is looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager (m / f / d).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervising day-to-day financial and accounting operations within the company.
• Preparing and reviewing Monthly / Half year / Year-end closing and reporting of financial information.
• Coordinate and complete year-end audit (non-consolidated and consolidated), half-year and annual Group reporting package.
• Preparation and correspondence to tax authority inquiry / inspection.
• Improve work-flow and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Monitoring payments to suppliers, salaries, wage tax, and health insurance.
• Enhancement of ERP and business intelligence tools.
• Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years experience as an accountant (experience as senior accountant or higher is an asset).
• Technical and practical knowledge of accounting and regulatory reporting requirements.
• German C2 level, English B2 or above, business proficiency.
