We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive our growth across Europe. This role reports to the Head of Distribution Markets and is a part of our international sales team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand our market presence in Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including healthcare professionals, and distributors.
- Manage and support a network of distributors to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent service.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to align sales strategies.
- Execute new product launches and provide necessary training support
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market feedback to senior management.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the medical devices industry, preferably with experience in GI endoscopy and endo urology.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the European healthcare market and regulatory environment.
- Experience in managing and supporting distributors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong professional presence, business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Passionate about medical device sales.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Written and verbal fluency in English is required.
- Natural team-playing qualities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
