Application Test Engineer (m/f/d) for TestLab

Aufgabe

1. Develop, debug, and optimize V93000 based application tests in Böblingen TestLab.
2. Manage, drive transfer and release of customer devices to TestLab.
3. Lead the introduction and implementation of V93000 based test solutions to improve TestLab application device test coverage.
4. Lead a virtual team with members from R&D and CoE/AE during operation and issue analysis of V93000 based test solutions.
5. Ramp and mentor test engineers with specific focus on application test/debug background.
6. Collect and evaluate R&D features and test requirements (on existing and new products) to further improve test coverage and capabilities.
7. Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, manual and automated test procedures to ensure the highest possible test coverage in our HW/SW-System Test.
8. Analyze existing manual and automated test procedures to analyze coverage, test gaps and duplications of test effort.
9. Analyze existing processes for installation, configuration and maintenance of software and tools for various test environments.
10. Improve test coverage and reduce test execution times in close cooperation with other SW teams working on automation solutions.
11. Identify, define, and implement automation solutions wherever possible and feasible in close cooperation with other SW teams working on automation solutions.

Qualifikation

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree or University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Minimum of three years' relevant experience in semiconductor testing, preferably as an application engineer working closely with Advantest customers.
3. Proven experience in development, debugging and correlation of V93000 applications.
4. Project experience in at least one of the following technologies: digital, mixed, RF.
5. Good knowledge of C/C++ and Java programming language.
6. Good knowledge of Linux operating systems.
7. Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Linux shell scripting, Python, etc.).
8. Ability and motivation to work with minimum supervision in project teams in a global environment.
9. Good communication skills to work in a cross-functional team.
10. Good knowledge of English.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge and experience to extend existing test HW such as load boards.
2. Project experience in multiple technologies: digital, mixed, RF.
3. Proven experience in working with SmartTest 7.
4. Good knowledge of German.
