Responsibilities

1. Translating business documents from German into English and English into German
2. Proofreading documents in English and German from various areas (IT, buying, logistics, finance, law)
3. Simultaneously interpreting in both directions between German and English at internal events and meetings, both remote and on-site
4. Helping to maintain our internal terminology database
5. Supporting the further development of our internal processes and language service portfolio

Your Profile

1. University degree in translation/interpreting/foreign languages or comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience in translation in a similar area
3. Ideally, several years of professional experience in interpreting (ideally simultaneously)
4. Native speaker of English and fluent level of German
5. Experience using translation memory systems
6. Committed and sociable team player with excellent communication skills
7. Reliable, independent and autonomous work approach
