AI & Organization Development Manager (All genders welcome) at the People & Organization (P&O) Department Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job mission: The AI (Artificial Intelligence) & Organization Development Manager is responsible for driving the integration of AI technologies across the organization, focusing on identifying and addressing skill needs and supporting workforce development initiatives. The role involves collaborating with IT, Cyber Security, Strategy, and other departments to design and implement company-wide AI-related policies, regulations, and training programs, ensuring compliance, ethical standards, and organizational readiness for AI-driven transformation. This position is critical in aligning AI initiatives with business objectives, particularly in People & Organization (P&O) functions such as recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management.

Your responsibilities:

Strategic Tasks:

  1. Collaborate with Strategy, IT, Cyber Security, Legal and P&O teams to develop and implement a comprehensive AI framework, encompassing company-wide policies, guidelines, and regulations, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and value, compliance with ethical standards and complementary to IT and Cyber Security requirements.
  2. Conduct organizational skills assessments to identify gaps across the workforce and design strategies to build AI-related competencies at all levels of the company.
  3. Partner with Strategy and IT to align AI-driven initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to support these initiatives.
  4. Provide input into the creation of company-wide frameworks for AI adoption, focusing on workforce development and organizational readiness for AI-driven changes.

Operational Tasks:

  1. Identify the right AI tools for the organization to enhance innovation, collaboration, productivity, and efficiency, including assessing their priorities, organizational impact, and benchmarking how other companies utilize these tools.
  2. Define training requirements and workforce development initiatives to address company-wide AI-related skills needs, tailoring learning approaches to diverse employee groups.
  3. Collaborate with IT and Strategy teams to ensure AI solutions are effectively integrated into organizational processes while maintaining a focus on employee enablement and operational impact.
  4. Oversee the implementation of AI tools in P&O functions, such as recruitment and employee support systems, ensuring these tools align with company policies and workforce capabilities.

Ethical and Compliance Tasks:

  1. Work with cross-functional teams, including Legal and IT, to ensure company-wide AI policies address data privacy, compliance, and ethical use of AI, fostering trust in AI-driven solutions.
  2. Support the development of organizational guidelines for the responsible use of AI, promoting transparency, fairness, and non-discrimination across all business functions.
  3. Advocate for ethical AI practices in training and application, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and workforce expectations.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Change:

  1. Monitor the organizational impact of AI adoption, gathering feedback and insights to refine policies, tools, and training programs.
  2. Establish and oversee mechanisms for employees to share input on AI-driven initiatives, ensuring their concerns and suggestions are addressed effectively.
  3. Support change management initiatives for AI adoption, focusing on building awareness and confidence in AI's role in driving organizational success.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

4–6 years of experience in P&O (HR), organizational development, or related fields, preferable with some exposure to AI tools or digital transformation projects.

Demonstrated experience in developing workforce skills initiatives and supporting the implementation of organizational policies.

Skills:

  1. Basic understanding of AI technologies and their application in P&O functions such as recruitment and employee engagement.
  2. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful AI tool integration and operational improvements.
  3. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR) and ethical guidelines related to AI usage in organizational settings.
  4. Proficiency in MS365 applications to support data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and process automation.
  5. Effective project management skills, with the ability to oversee cross-departmental initiatives related to AI adoption and workforce development.
  6. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Fluent in English (written and spoken), with the ability to work in an international team environment.
