About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant with a Master’s degree in Accounting and a strong background in financial management, tax compliance, and reporting. This part-time position is ideal for professionals proficient in German accounting standards (HGB), VAT regulations, and financial operations. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and optimizing accounting processes within a dynamic international environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
2. Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and reconciliations in compliance with German financial regulations.
3. Manage VAT filings, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
4. Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
5. Ensure accurate and timely ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
6. Optimize accounting workflows and reporting structures.
7. Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support business decisions.

Who You Are

1. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: Proven work experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the German market.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB), tax laws, and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, DATEV, or QuickBooks.
4. Language: Fluent in German (mandatory – written and spoken), basic English proficiency required.
5. Work Setup: Ability to work from Canggu, Bali or remotely, depending on business needs.
