As a motivated and experienced Accountant (part-time 25-30h/week), you will strengthen our finance department and help to master the daily challenges with passion.

YOUR TASKS

1. You are responsible for financial accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable, for a medium-sized corporation.
2. You are involved in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB or US GAAP.
3. You post work in progress and finished goods for long-term production projects in accordance with HGB, including reconciliation postings to US GAAP.
4. If required, you support Group reporting and take over intercompany reconciliation.
5. You work closely with other specialist departments such as Controlling, Tax or Account Management.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as a financial accountant or tax clerk.
2. You have several years of relevant professional experience in the accounting department of a medium-sized company; initial experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS would be an advantage.
3. You are characterized by good user knowledge of common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAVISION / Business Central (BC), as well as MS Office applications (especially Excel).
4. You enjoy working in a team, are reliable and resilient.
5. Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
