About the role:
As an Account Manager (m/f/d) you are part of the German sales team based in Frankfurt am Main!
We are looking for a new team member (m/f/d) who has high service standards, enjoys being in contact with customers and works closely with other areas of the company.
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for both remote and in-office work in a state-of-the-art office in the metropolis of Frankfurt.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Sales and direct customer responsibility for an individual portfolio
- Responsibility for contract renewal, expansion of the business relationship (upsell), active customer loyalty as well as the support of new customers
- Creation of account plans for top customers in the personal portfolio
- Coordination of deal teams for target customers with the various specialist departments
- High focus on qualified customer loyalty activities (including “winback”) and sales of products such as D&B Hoovers, D&B Finance Analytics, D&B Risk Analytics and D&B Data Blocks
- Identification of new customer contacts within our existing customer base (finance, purchasing, compliance, sales and marketing)
- Identify up- and cross-sell opportunities and increase of core sales
- Responsibility for contract management
- Drive sales-related activities (e.g., service-oriented calls, conversations to stimulate product usage and new business acquisition) to improve customer loyalty and prevent customer turnover
- Manage and communicate progress against goals through accurate and timely pipeline management, reporting and forecasting via our CRM system
- Migration of old products into the new D&B portfolio
Your Experience- Position-relevant sales experience in managing customer portfolios with medium-sized companies
- Ideally B2B experience in the data, technology or financial services industry as well as experience with modern sales methodologies
- Proven competence in sales negotiations, high motivation and a confidence with strong contact and communication skills
- Working in a team-oriented environment and supporting the internal collaboration culture
- In-depth understanding of client processes (Sales & Marketing / Finance & Risk Solutions / Compliance) and the relevant client offering within the respective area of expertise
- Ideally experience in the creation of account plans
- Ideally experience in coordinating deal teams for target clients
- Experience and know-how in win-back activities
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a results-oriented culture
- Experience in presenting live demos and product trainings (web-based)
- Sound user-related IT knowledge (MS Office, e.g. Salesforce, etc.)
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
