As an Account Manager MBA Aspire, you will develop and oversee the execution of account plans for multiple accounts and work to ensure engagements yield high volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer that are on track with goals, budgets, and forecasts. You will understand customer drivers of digital transformation and leverage that understanding to engage internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation and strategy.
As an Account Manager MBA Aspire, you will cultivate relationships and use Microsoft sales strategies throughout multiple levels of the customer's organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with executives and business and technical decision makers at high levels of the customer's organization to establish trust and credibility in future interactions. Continue to build reputation with customers during interactions by being customer-focused, consistently honoring commitments, explaining technical concepts relevant to the customer, and connecting the customer to Microsoft executives.
- Manage and execute plans for multiple accounts to ensure Microsoft targets and customer business needs are met. Coordinate with specific account management teams on plan execution and drive accountability to deliver on account plans. Orchestrate extended team and embrace partners to scale business. Ensure sales consumption and adoption goals are on target.
- Seek customer feedback (both formal and informal) of assigned accounts to identify and understand the drivers of satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. Leverage internal resources to support customer needs. Orchestrate others (e.g., Technical Account Managers [TAMs]) to anticipate issues/risks on customer satisfaction, determine the root cause of problems, remove blockers and establish recovery action plans as needed to improve customers' overall experience. Proactively establish agreement on success measures and manage execution on success measures to prevent need for recovery plans.
- Build and maintain knowledge of Microsoft offerings, as well as of customer business priorities and basic industry trends to positively articulate the value of Microsoft's offerings in addressing the needs of the assigned accounts and evaluating their business. Coordinate with internal industry experts (e.g., industry solutions executives) to gather industry data of assigned accounts and improve planning.
- Create and drive opportunities based on industry best practices, present them to customers, and generate demand. Develop a plan within a broader strategy to qualify opportunities for product or solution sales. Utilize partners and channels like social media to create demand. Lead efforts to drive MCEM lifecycle progression and coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to generate new demand. Use advanced technical knowledge to assess feasibility of customer requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to prepare solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Innovation Management or related field.
- Experience in account management OR equivalent.
- Fluency in German & English at a professional level.
- You must be legally authorized to work in Germany to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorized = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Prosci or change management experience.
- Experience with design sprinting.
- Proficient in various sales methodologies.
- Experienced in advanced negotiation techniques and strategies.
