The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This position is office-based hybrid (Munich or Berlin)

As an Account Executive for medium business / mid-market you will focus on new logo acquisition and have high impact on our new business revenue growth while, building on your previous experiences, becoming an industry-leading expert in complex software sales.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  1. Net New ARR: You’re responsible for bringing in net new, recurring revenue through closing medium business' (50-200 headcount) customers in Germany.
  2. Prospecting: You own your book of business and build outreach strategies to fill your pipeline.
  3. Qualification: You drive a thorough discovery stage and understand the key metrics of progressing qualified leads through MEDDIC.
  4. Internal collaboration: SDR’s supporting your pipe gen activities and you will be working closely with additional internal stakeholders like Solution Engineering, Legal, Marketing and Partnerships.
  5. Project management: You guide prospects through their evaluation process, influence decision criteria and support building business cases that trigger action across complex buying centers.
  6. CRM & Data: You maintain data hygiene in our CRM, forecast with accuracy and make data driven decisions across your sales funnel.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  1. You have a proven track record of +2 years in a new biz SaaS closing sales role.
  2. You see yourself as a “hunter” and enjoy developing creative prospecting strategies.
  3. You have excellent qualification skills helping you to create a need to act on a functional (HR) and company level.
  4. You are familiar with sales qualifications and methodologies, preferably MEDDIC.
  5. You have a high intrinsic motivation to continuously challenge yourself to become better every single day.
  6. You are driven and motivated for ways to overachieve against your targets.
  7. You’re a native German speaker (or equivalent C2 level) and fluent in English (business language).
