The Role: Account Director Sustainability (German Speaking Preferred)
The Team: The Account Director Sustainability plays a critical role in both deepening our sustainability relationships with existing clients and expanding our market coverage. Specifically, the Account Director coverage team is focused on understanding holistically the sustainability needs of clients across Financial Institution and Corporate segments, and coordinating across all S&P Divisions to deliver a coherent suite of solutions to support their sustainability ambitions. In addition, this team proactively engages with a range of market participants to expand our visibility across these sectors, focusing on intermediaries and influencers to Financial Institution and Corporate clients for our suite of solutions. This individual will be responsible for defining and delivering on the strategy for a defined territory and existing book of business.
The Impact: In this role, reporting to the Europe Lead for Account Directors, you will have the opportunity to work on global, multi-stakeholder deals, engaging with a diverse range of companies within a defined territory. Notably, you will proactively seek out new relationships with stakeholders across all relevant departments within financial institutions and corporates to transform the interactions that S&P Global has with the industry on sustainability. You will thrive in dynamic environments that require an ability to navigate complex client relationships as well as complex internal organizational structures.
