What we offer:

Our functional area CTO (Chief Technology Officer) ensures smooth and safe operations at the international production sites. He is also responsible for the planning, construction and further development of our production facilities.

The ENA operation comprises the supply and disposal facilities of COV D AG at the Brunsbüttel Industrial Park. These consist of a heat-operated combined heat and power plant for process steam along with the ancillary facilities for the compressed air, refrigeration, water and cooling water supply as well as the operation of air separators and production plants for demineralized process water. The disposal areas consist of a wastewater neutralization system, a biological wastewater treatment plant designed as a tower biology system and a wastewater incineration plant. In addition, the operation of the site pipe bridges is part of the plant scope.

In addition to our wide range of benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €108,600 gross/year and €135,700 gross/year plus a variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your tasks:

• As part of a team with the plant management, you will be responsible for monitoring production processes and plant maintenance measures together with the plant engineers, production experts and shift management.
• In your new position, you will be responsible for the personnel management of directly assigned employees in a team with the plant management.
• Operational support as Venture Manager:in (m/f/d) for the professional and timely planning and execution of projects will fall within your area of responsibility.
• Together with the Process Energy Officer, you will monitor and optimize all plant energy consumptions.
• You initiate measures to maintain and optimize plant availability and have a significant influence on the overall success of operational and process engineering measures, including production and investment costs.
• You initiate and actively support operational trials for plant optimization or expansion.
• You are responsible for performing all production-related tasks to fulfill the legal requirements for plant safety, product safety, occupational safety and environmental protection.

What you bring to the table:

• You have a university degree preferably in energy or utilities management or an equivalent degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Your profile shows several years of professional experience in production and project management for cross-functional understanding and coordinated planning.
• You also have experience in commercial and/or logistics functions.
• You also have impressive leadership qualities and strong communication skills.
• You are a team player and can work in a complex environment with excellent interface management.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English round off your profile.
