Physical Location: International Paper Grande Prairie Pulp Mill, 53024A Resources Road, County of Grande Prairie No.1. Directions: Travel 12 kms south of Grande Prairie on Resources Road. Work NW Alberta.
The Job You Will Perform: QA/QC (Weld Quality Control) Inspector & In-Service Piping Inspector. This Inspector position reports to the Chief Inspector and will be required to work daily with the onsite welding shop manager, planners and In-Service Inspectors (ISI), Operations, Maintenance Planners, Engineers, and Maintenance Coordinators. This position is a Monday to Friday dayshift, salaried position that provides a great work/life balance, allowing a steady routine and predictable work schedule with flexibility; however, occasional call-ins and overtime may be required due to projects and maintenance outages. The Skills You Will Bring: Ideal candidate would hold a current CWB Level 2 welding inspector certification with endorsements for B31.3, ASME VIII, with a minimum of 5 years’ combined experience in construction, inspections, repairs, and/or alterations of Pressure Piping or Pressure Vessels or experience within a QA/QC role. API 570 and Alberta In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector (ISI-PP) and Red Seal Welder certifications are considered an asset but not required.
